The base plus number of items MIVA Merchant module by world zone (basenumz) allows you to specify different shipping
rates based on the method of shipping AND the number of items AND
the area of the world the item is being shipped to. The module evaluates the
"ship to" country and only displays those methods and rates applicable to the
destination. This prevents customers from selecting lower rates which may
not be available for them. Not compatible with the current google checkout module as that module does not use the customer's address to select the shipping methods available.
The module currently fully supports the mivasql configuration of MIVA Merchant 5. It also supports MySQL as long as load balancing has the data stored on the single MySQL server and
permissions are set correctly on the data
directories. This would be the case in most of the server setups. If you are using Merchant 5.x and your host is web.com, you will not be able to use this module due to the way they configure their servers. There are no known issues with
other hosts.
