Add insurance to the order total based on rates you
establish in your Miva Merchant admin.
The module admin interface allows you to construct a table of
ranges of subtotal values with corresponding insurance
charge. You also can select to make the insurance cost a
taxable entity.
The store owner can give the customer the choice to accept
or reject insurance coverage or he can make the insurance a
mandatory charge.
You can use OpenTokens
instead of hook points within OpenObjects on the checkout screen. The
OpenDesigner screen lists the OpenObjects which can
replace all or some screens within the OpenUI user
interface. The OpenObjects provide a template screen
which contains the existing hook points (backward
compatibility), OpenToken capability, and the ability to
move output around within the OpenObject screen.
Limitation: This table is based on the subtotal and is
not related to the method of shipping. If your shipping methods
do not charge insurance uniformally, this module will not be
able to differentiate between them.
