Get the "must-have" store features fast and easy--no assembly required.

Need a popup for enlarged product images? Breadcrumbs, Mini-Basket, Tool Tips, Best Seller's Slide show? Don't have the time or patience to learn a new language? Merchant FAST gives you these features and more...with No Assembly Required.

Simply add the appropriate module item (or in the worst case, two items) onto your page and you are done; no archaic syntax to learn (assuming you know what a syntax is in the first place), no fetching code from dozens of separate sites, no 12 step (or more) procedures to follow, no hours of trying to patch script variables with Merchant variables, and no posting to the Merchant Users Forum to ask why its not working. (However, feel free to post the results of your spiffy new store features.)

Here's what Merchant FAST can do right out of the box with just an item tag or two:

• Breadcrumb Navigation.
  
• Mini-Basket.
  
• Popups for Large Images, or Detail Images.
  
• Slide show for Best Sellers, Featured Products or Category Products.
  
• Products lists for Best Sellers, Featured Products or Category Product.
  
• Tool-Tips. Shows additional Information when mouse is held over link such as product name or image.
  
• Bench Mark Testing. See how much time new features and coding add to your page load.
  
• Include content from external files.
  
• Show Time/Date (offset to a local time). For example, to add a "current time is" display, simply add: <mvt:item name="pm_fast" param="time hh:mm:ss up" /> to your template.

How Easy Is It?

Need a list of your best selling products, just add:

<mvt:item name="pm_fast" param="load first 5 best"/>

...only want the best sellers in a specific category--just say so using:

<mvt:item  name="pm_fast"  param="load first 5 best foobar-category"/>

...its all that simple. Of course, you can add your own flair to these features through their respective templates, but they come fully assembled and ready for prime time within minutes.

Merchant FAST also lets you create simple (and some not so simple) variables for use in your templates, all without requiring programming-like syntax:

Do Math Calculations

<mvt:item name="pm_fast" param="set my:savings = (product:cost - product:price)" />

Creates a My Savings discount value by using the normal price (MSRP) as cost and subtracting the product price.

Format Currency Values

<mvt:item name="pm_fast" param="format money my:savings" />

Changes: the variable 'my:savings' (for example, from the price discount calculation above which we will pretend is 3.2).

Into: $3.20

Show Portions of Variables

<mvt:item name="pm_fast" param="show 25 product:descrip" />

Changes: This is the greatest product in the world, everyone should have it because I said so.

Into: This is the greatest prod

This doesn't mean you can only have one flavor of feature. Wherever possible, we've left things open for the more inquisitive and able folks to tweak as needed.
