new features including: sub-coupons, free shipping coupons, group coupons, coupon starting/ending
dates, coupons by product minimums and detailed coupon statistics for tracking usage and return on
investment. As with all of Sebenza's Next-Generation modules for MIVA Merchant 5, Ultimate Coupons
is template based using MIVA's new Store Morph Technology™. This provides you with complete control
over the look, feel and functionality of the modules many features, all controlled via an intuitive,
easy to use administrative interface.
Additional features include:
Flat Rate & Percentage Discount Coupons
Choose from either a flat rate discount, such as $10.00, or from a
percentage discount, such as 10%.
Free Shipping Coupons
This option allows you to create a free shipping coupon to give to
your customers. Free shipping coupons also allow you to specify what
shipping methods are valid for free shipping.
Instant Product Coupons
Instant Product Coupons allow you to create coupons that can be redeemed
from the product display page. These coupons are added to the basket
before checking out.
Group Coupons
Group coupons are coupons associated with price and / or availability
groups. When a customer redeems a group coupon they are instantly added
to the specified price and / or availability group.
If the customer is added to a price group, their basket contents will
automatically update to reflect any new discount.
Sub-Coupons
Sub-coupons are dynamically created unique coupon codes that utilize the
main coupons settings. An example of using sub-coupons would be if you
wanted to dynamically create a unique coupon code for users that create
an account... or maybe refer a friend. Time limits can also be applied to
sub-coupons. An example time limit might be offering a dynamically created
coupon code that expires 15 minutes from the time of creation.
Coupon Statistics
View coupon statistics based on coupon code and date range. Statistics report
will give you everything from usage count to order sub-total values.

Coupon Types
Multiple Use – Coupon can be used multiple times
One Per Customer – Coupon can be used only once for each customer.
One Time Use – When selected, the coupon can only be used once.
Group – When this is selected, your customer will automatically be joined to a specified price and / or availability group. If the customer has items in their basket before entering this coupon code, their basket contents will be updated to reflect the new price group pricing.
Discount Value
Instant Product Coupon
This option allows to create coupons redeemable on the product display.
Start Date
Date the coupon is active from.
End Date
The expiration date of the coupon.
Max Use
This setting allows you to specify a maximum usage for the coupon. For example, if you only wanted the first 50 customers to use the coupon.
Max Discount
Maximum discount value that will be applied to the order.
Minimum Sub-Total
Allows you to specify a minimum basket sub-total before the coupon can be applied.
Affiliate Code
If you would like to credit an affiliate based the coupon code used. This is great for when you are advertising via print media and want to track the sales or give an affiliate credit for a sale generated.
Reduce Tax
This option allows you to reduce the sales tax value when a coupon is used.
