Research has shown that on each additional "step" through
an online checkout process, you will lose conversions. Too
many checkout steps equals lost sales. While we believe the
standard Miva Merchant checkout flow is sufficient for most
stores, many can benefit greatly from a simplified checkout.
Building a one page checkout in Miva Merchant 5 is not
difficult, just time consuming and sometimes a little tricky.
We've even written an article on how to do it yourself for free.
But we also know this can be a daunting task, so we're more
than happy to do it for you.
Please consider the following before ordering our Miva Merchant 5 One Page Checkout Configuration Service:
1 - One page checkouts work best with one "payment module".
If you have multiple payment modules (ie: COD, Check Payment AND
Credit Card Payment), you will need to choose only ONE of these.
For Credit Card payment, however, your customers will still be
able to choose what type of card.
2 - If you use dynamic calculations (eg: FedEx, USPS, UPS)
during your checkout, the proper zip code must be entered
prior to displaying shipping methods or the calculations
may change during checkout. In this case, we offer the same
service as a two-page checkout. Additionally if you need
to collect both shipping and billing addresses separately,
we can implement this as a longer-page one-page OR two-page
checkout.
Notes: Pricing begins at $399.95 and covers a stock configuration with one payment module and no 3rd party checkout modules.
We will require that a credit card authorization to be received to cover incidentals and additional module integrations, charged hourly at our standard rates*.
We will charge additional hourly fees* to integrate non-stock features such as: more than one payment module, coupon modules, gift certificate modules, addendum/extra data collection modules, etc.
We NO LONGER do one page checkouts if the customer is using Weiland's Sort Shipping, since it is incompatible, with this service. However, the Shipping SuperMod IS compatible as a good alternative and we can install it at an additional charge*.
This is not a module, it is a service performed by one of our Miva Merchant experts. We require a signed design authorization service agreement prior to beginning your configuration. This service agreement is included in the download for this service.
*Additional hours are billable at $95 an hour.
