Make it easy for your customers to come back again! Does your store sell consumable products that customers are likely to purchase more than once? Or perhaps your customers would like to save their shopping items and come back to finish their order later? Use our Basket Tracker module to implement this feature! Your customers will be able to save one or more baskets with a nickname for future use--great for customer self-management of order history and re-orders.
You can configure this module to allow any number of saved baskets--even unlimited--for each customer in your store. Baskets can last forever or they can expire after a given number of days. Your customers can log in, view their saved baskets, check a basket's contents, prices, and subtotal, and then restore the contents of the saved basket to their "live" Miva Merchant basket.
Uses
- Delayed Purchasing: Customers who wish to add items to their basket now, but who are not yet ready to place the order, will not lose their shopping cart when their session times out. Saving your customers time will encourage them to complete an order.
- Reorders: Repeat customers who often purchase the same products, can save their basket the first time and easily place this past order over and over. Once a saved basket has been restored, they can add and remove individual products as needed.
The module allows extensive customization to the new screens, including headers/footers, custom messages, custom buttons and forms, and many choices of locations for links to the Basket Tracker screens. See the slideshow for more details!
Version 2.2 - Now supports OpenUI tokens in all text fields (headers, footers, messages, etc). We will shortly be adding a feature that will allow placement of the "save current basket" form and "view saved baskets" link via OpenUI tokens.
Development for Basket Tracker for Miva Merchant 3.x was officially ended at version 2.5. Therefore, some features described may not be available to customers using 3.x versions of Miva Merchant. In particular, tokens are not available for 3.x.
