Prevents the purchase of specific products in your store
which cannot be exported outside your export eligible
country list. It can be configured through admin to
restrict states or zip codes instead of countries. It allows one
location eligibility list for the store. Then you add
the products which may not be shipped outside of that list. For the zip codes, you can restrict export to an individual list of zip
codes or zip code ranges. You can use either the 5 digits or the
abbreviated first 3 digits of the zip code. The module also has a wildcard
setting so you can put all of the products in the store on the export
prohibited list instead of just certain products.
During checkout, after entering the ship to
information, the module checks the basket against the
eligible destination list. If prohibited exports are in
the basket, the customer cannot proceed further and is
advised which products must be removed from the basket.
The message the customer sees is configurable through the
store admin. This module cannot be used if you have
Google checkout in your store since that checkout system
bypasses the Miva Merchant checkout pages.
